Kallen is Blessed

Kallen had a special day yesterday as her father got to bless her at church. She was wide awake and silent throughout the blessing. She even held off with eating once we got home so that Mom could get a photo of the whole family together. Kallen is certainly a very pleasant little girl.

Daddy Love

Always looking to maximize productivity, Eric multi-tasks. Kallen is happy to get her Daddy time however she can!

Meeting Kallen

Kallen got to meet her Aunt Wendy, cousin Sara, and cousin Scooter. They all came to town to train with Scooter's new service dog. Sara came along from Idaho to help Wendy out. Scooter quickly became rather interested in Kallen's diapers. He also help keep her pacifier in her mouth.

The Snow Bunker/Fort

Once the snow finally stopped, Katherine, Kora and Aunt Wendy all went out to build a snow fort. Kora ended up doing more supervising. Katherine and Wendy enjoyed building the walls. Some blue food coloring gave the fort some added pizazz!

All the shoveling...

Eric became obsessed with keeping up on all the shoveling that needed to be done. Luckily for him, Aunt Wendy and cousin Scooter were in town to help out! After clearing our driveway to his satisfaction, Eric caught a ride on a city snow plow to check out road conditions throughout the city.

Cincinnati Blizzard 2008!

The entire city braced itself for what was predicted to be this area's biggest snow storm in 30 years. I didn't believe all the hype until I actually witnessed the day and a half of near continual snowfall. In the end, we here in Mason got somewhere around a foot and a half of snow. While we were stuck in the house the entire weekend, it was great fun to watch all the snow accumulate.
